Further down a bit from the front gates of Hilton Head Plantation is Main Street Village.  A community of shops such as a nail salon, hair salon, dry cleaner, pharmacy, liquor store, grocery store, boutiques, and fabulous restaurants to enjoy.   This has become an island favorite place to shop, dine, and stroll around.  

Further down Main Street, you can find banks, medical offices, assisted living facilities, churches, a synagogue, and Hilton Head Schools.

Hilton Head Plantation is close to Hilton Head Hospital, a 93-bed medical center, and a major healthcare facility serving our communities from Hilton Head Island to Bluffton.

Hilton Head Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, and between the main hospital, Bluffton Medical Campus, and Bluffton Okatie Outpatient Center, they offer a full range of diagnostic and treatment services, including heart care, spine and orthopedic treatments with high-tech robotic surgery, a women’s center, an outpatient rehabilitation facility, and a nationally accredited breast health center.

Closeby is also Hilton Head Island Branch Library has an outdoor reading garden, a popular Friends of the Library bookstore, public computers, a large DVD collection, a children's storytelling area, and a cozy South Carolina Reading Room that houses a large business collection. 

Hilton Head Island Fire & Rescue Station 4 is just outside the back gate of Hilton Head Plantation.

Beyond the Fire Station are three of Hilton Head Island's landmark restaurants with amazing views of The Port Royal Sound. The three restaurants offer the best waterfront dining on the Island.  The iconic Hudson's Seafood House on the Docks uses one of only two remaining local fishing fleets on Hilton Head Island to bring in fresh-caught seafood straight to their docks. Skull Creek Dockside resembles an old-style river house with a covered patio and outdoor bar that serves not only seafood but BBQ and prime steaks as well.  The third restaurant is Skull Creek Boathouse which has the inside Dive Bar with a sushi bar which also features raw oysters, sashimi and ceviche. Also along the waterway is Hilton Head Boathouse with 352 dry stack storage slips, which also features a factory-authorized Yamaha service center and a tackle shop.  This marina provides all your boating needs right outside the gates of Hilton Head Plantation.
